I am a professional private tutor, with bachelor's and master's degrees from Indiana University, accepting new students for the summer.
I specialize in English, writing, reading, reading comprehension, test preparation (PSAT, SAT, ACT, ISTEP, etc. prep.) government, history, vocabulary, and more. I can also tutor in math and science for elementary school students.
I thoroughly enjoy helping students meet and surpass educational goals. I am very focused on implementing individualized plans for each student's needs. My mother was a public school teacher for 25 years. I substitute taught elementary, middle, and high school students throughout my college career.
I graduated from IU in Bloomington in 2001 with a BA in political science and history. I graduated from IU in Indianapolis in 2006 with a MPA.
As stated above, the first session is absolutely free. After that, my fee starts at $25 per hour. The fee will be based on traveling distance to get to where you live (I also tutor students in Carmel).
